Your Role as 1st Line Support Engineer
As a 1st Line Engineer, you are the first point of contact for our customers. You assist them by phone or email with their IT questions and work with them to find the right solution. Need help? You’ll seamlessly involve your 2nd line colleagues. You’ll also configure IT equipment at the office and assist with project deliveries on-site at customers.
What will you do?
Be the first point of contact for customers with questions about their IT environment
- Analyze issues, solve them, or escalate to 2nd line support when needed
- Configure laptops, workstations, and network equipment to ensure customers can get started smoothly
- Assist with delivering and installing new solutions at customer locations
Do you recognize yourself in this? Technical skills:
- You’re confident working with Windows 10 and 11
- You know the basics of Windows Server (Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V)
- Microsoft 365 holds few secrets for you
- Networks, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi? You’ve got the fundamentals covered
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bonus points if you have experience with VoIP and SIP phones
